Yes, worth the investment. The doll has quite the dangerous curves (for my taste) and she was grateful for me washing her. After all, her joints were a bit stiff from her journey. I played music for her to listen to while I washed her, and let her continue to listen to music through her drying and powdering process. Then we put a few different outfits (one at a time) on the doll to see what she liked from what her Muse had picked for her. I think she likes all of them so far.
